About Trich

Trich is considered the most common curable STD. In the United States. An estimated 3.7 million people have the infection, but over 70% never develop any symptoms. Infection is more common in women than in men who can often get re-infected within 3 months after treatment. It’s important for both sexual partners to get screened and treated if they are infected to avoid re-infection.

Please note:  Trich testing is very accurate for women and slightly less accurate for men, with more false positive and false negative test results. Men can be asymptomatic carriers, and still infect their partners. For most comprehensive results, we recommend including trich in your regular testing options.
